Advice: You need to find a new home for your pet

Permanent re-homing

If you need to find a new home for your pet, please contact us directly for more information (details opposite). Please give us as much notice as possible; we often have to prioritise animals in urgent need and only have 32 cat pods at our Emergency Fostering Unit, but we we will do our best to help you.

In the event of an emergency, such as an eviction or death of an owner, ring the branch’s emergency telephone line on 07710 294 180. This number is manned between the hours of 9.30am and 6pm Sunday to Friday.

We do not generally collect animals from you but let you know when there is a space to take them. We may be able to collect in exceptional circumstances.

There are many other organisations who also help to re-home animals in the London area, such as:

Temporary re-homing

We do not offer temporary boarding, so we cannot care for your animals while you are in hospital or in prison. Your local council may be able to provide boarding in these circumstances.

The Cinnamon Trust on 01736 757 900 and the Mayhew Animal Rescue Home on 020 8968 2340 may also be able to help.
